Pediatric Clinic

Since 2003, Family Medical Clinic has served every member of the family with comprehensive healthcare services. Our team of Family Medicine and Internal Medicine and Pediatric physicians and Family Nurse Practitioners offer a variety of pediatric services for children age 3 and older.

Childhood Disease

Our team of providers includes: family physicians, internal physicians, pediatric physicians, and family nurse practitioners equipped to diagnose and treat childhood diseases and illnesses. These include conditions such as: allergies, colds, strep throat, ADD/ADHD, and more.

Sports Injuries

Our team of providers are equipped to handle sports injuries such as sprains, minor cuts and scrapes, and more. We also offer an on-site x-ray lab which allows us to diagnose fractures, dislocations, and other concerns.

Sports Physicals

Many community sports leagues in DeSoto County and local schools require athletes to obtain annual sports physicals in order to play a variety of sports. Our team makes the process of obtaining a sports physical as easy as possible. Often it can be combined with a yearly wellness visit or well child physical at no out-of-pocket cost to you.

Teen Care

Our practice provides healthcare for young children as well as teens. We offer a variety of medical services for young adults, including: urgent care and sick visits, chronic care management and wellness/prevention visits.

Vaccinations

Our practice offers vaccinations for children and teens, including recommended vaccinations for school and sports such as tetanus, pertussis, meningitis, and more. We also offer HPV vaccinations and flu shots for children and teens.

Wellness Visits & Milestone Checkups

Family Medical Clinic of North Mississippi offers wellness visits and milestone checkups for your child. During these visits, we will make sure your child is on the right track and meeting milestones alongside healthy growth rates. Because your child is rapidly changing and growing, wellness visits and milestone checkups are a significant part of keeping them healthy and preventing potential problems. During a wellness visit and milestone checkup, our pediatric physicians will look at your child’s weight, height, vision, hearing, vital signs and more. Wellness visits are important in early stages of life, because this is when individuals do the most growing and developing. You have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have regarding your child’s health and development during these visits.
